Gift for 85th anniversary of the company
Chris called us because he and his colleagues were looking for a unique gift for the upcoming 85th anniversary of the company Kraan- en transportbedrijf Van der Tol B.V. They wanted a design with the portraits of four people. It was quite a search for suitable photos, but in the end it worked.
Because the photos contain few pixels, it became difficult to make a crop drawing. We have therefore switched to a different technique. Instead of cutting, we engraved the portraits. We then cut out these engraved portraits again, creating a height difference on the board. The years and logo are cut out and attached to the board.
The colors are blackwash with smoked oak and the whole is 75 cm wide and 35 cm high.
We got this reaction from Chris when he sent us a photo of the gift on the wall: “Look! It is now hanging at the entrance. Everyone who enters immediately sees it hanging. They are beautifully immortalized in this way. The gift went down well with everyone and when he was handed over on January 6, he was received with a tear. All in all a success. Thank you for your cooperation.”
